We’re making it easy to start building, creating, and connecting, at The Near North Makerspace!
Do you want to start making, but don’t know where to start? We’re creating a Project Menu that makes it easy to buy a ready to go project that gives you everything you need to begin building and creating. Browse what projects idea starters are available to purchase, and our friendly staff are here to help get you setup with what equipment and materials you need.

Have a project in mind? Come visit us and we’ll help set you up with what you need! Want to start making, but don’t know where to start? Ask our staff for ideas, based on what equipment interests you!
How to make your project
Once your know what you want to make, we have a wide variety of equipment and materials to help you. Most of our equipment has a simple fee of $15, plus materials. Check out our materials price list. You can also bring in your own materials to work with.
Expand your skills
The best way to learn is to do it yourself. But don’t worry, our staff are here to answer your questions and help with trouble shooting.
